VYNTIX ReachOS / Opportunity Radar
This is the privacy and source-use notice for the local v0.3 application. Accept it in Radar settings before enabling network discovery. It is not a certification of platform approval or a substitute for a privacy policy and legal review for a hosted public service.
Topic queries, product references, public source URLs, titles, descriptions, creator/channel metadata, raw public counters and retrieval times may be saved in your local SQLite database. At your request, the app retrieves at most 20 public comments at a time. Commenter profile fields are not collected, and email-like strings are redacted from comment bodies. Public comment text can still contain personal information; do not treat it as anonymous.
YouTube queries and your API key are sent only to Google's official YouTube Data API. Hacker News queries are sent to the public Algolia HN Search API. Pasted URLs are stored as references; ReachOS does not fetch or scrape them. The local app sets a session cookie for admin authentication, but adds no advertising or cross-site tracking. Keys are encrypted using the local vault key; anybody with both the vault key and database may decrypt them.
Optional Ollama drafting sends only your own original brief and the selected product facts to your configured loopback Ollama service. This Radar module does not send raw source text, API credentials or comment samples to a cloud LLM. It does not train or fine-tune a model on API data. Draft generation is not a factual validation service.
Source records expire 28 days after retrieval unless refreshed. Expired source text, metadata, snapshots, discussion samples, workbench drafts and linked tasks are removed on startup/worker activity and before Radar reads. The application cannot delete files while your computer is off. You can delete a source immediately in its workspace. Encrypted settings and administrative audit metadata remain until you remove the workspace. Already transferred original posts based on your own brief remain in Content Studio, without copied API excerpts. Copies in your personal backups require separate deletion.
This application uses YouTube API Services. By using those features, you agree to the YouTube Terms of Service. See the Google Privacy Policy and YouTube Developer Policies. Public discovery uses an API key, not your Google password. The existing publishing adapter may separately use OAuth; revoke it in your Google account permissions.
YouTube-derived scores, velocity and comment-theme analysis are disabled by default. Enable them only after the relevant API project has accepted the applicable analytics amendment. Recording an attestation in ReachOS does not secure approval from Google. Custom metrics are labeled ReachOS estimates and never presented as YouTube metrics or predictions. Raw counters belong to the source creator, not VYNTIX.
No automatic commenting, liking, following or mass messaging endpoint is included in Radar. LinkedIn participation is manual; consult its authentic-conversation policy. Hacker News prohibits generated and AI-edited comments; its sources support research and original writing only. Follow the HN guidelines. Other communities may have additional rules; a human click does not automatically make promotion acceptable.
Only enter material you are entitled to use. Original scripts are not finished videos. No creator video is downloaded or republished by Radar. The discovery adapters use no paid data-broker or metered social-reading service; local request caps reduce accidental usage but are not a guarantee against all infrastructure or provider charges. Your own hardware, electricity, Internet service and operator time are not zero-cost resources.
This build is for the VYNTIX operator on a trusted local machine. Before hosting it for other users, establish your privacy contact, lawful basis, retention procedures, HTTPS, stronger authentication and source-specific compliance review. Direct questions or deletion requests to the VYNTIX administrator operating your instance. Do not expose the development server publicly.
